I'm really at a loss on this one. I believe she was with us for all four years of high school. But I have no concrete memories of her at all. Pretty much all I know is that on our senior video, she joined Kim Nokes and Julie Landon, and sang a few songs.

After high school, I have no idea what she did. She expressed an interest in working with little kids. She may have moved to Green Bay. Because it appears as if she adopted a dog from the Green Bay area humane society. She got a boxer named Petey. At some point, Kelli moved to Minneapolis - where she may still be today. I believe she eventually married, and became Kelli Bartol. If you're interested, look her up. If you have any school memories of her, share them. Because I got nothing.

UPDATE - 3/8/06 - Kelli has provided me a picture of her and her son Aiden, after his first haircut. Thanks Kelli. Click it to see it larger.

Boy am I at a loss here. With everyone covered thus far, I could at a MINIMUM recall a face.

Not here. Nothing. I don't recall what she looks like, what she sounds like, nada.

Oh well.

The stars must have converged in some odd way.....

I just ran into Kelli in Minneapolis yesterday!!!!! I just happened to be in Minneapolis area for some continuing education classes over the weekend and was having lunch with my wife and daughter, when Kelli walked over to say hi. I haven't seen her since graduation day in HS. Look for her to post sometime. It's a small world afterall.

Hi, This is Kelli Kupsch Bartol.
I am indeed living in Minneapolis. I am married and have a 14 month old son. I find it interesting that I remember you Bert, but you have no memories of me.
I guess that if you didn't know me I wasnt very memorable.

Welcome Kelli. Yes, I do remember you. I just don't remember any specific events or incidents. But you, yes. Of course I remember who you are.

And what are the odds of running into Joe? Small world.

I love the twin cities...spent a week working "undercover" in St Paul back in 1993 (why? long boring story),anyway, very cool area of the country.

Rest assured Kelli, Burt remembers you. Burt remembers everything about everyone.

Kelli is a good friend of mine. Her husband is a sweetheart who treats her great.

Do I have the memories of Kelli. Her parents trusted me to drive their stationwagon (You know I swore I'd never own a stationwagon or van when I had my own vehicle...and what do I drive but a van!) when my parents wouldn't let me drive their vehicle. I joined their family for a trip to Minnesota...it was one mischievious act after another. I recall even having a tree set on fire, and borrowing a canoe.

I knew we had similar interests when in our junior year we both had our hearts set on asking out the same guy to TWIRP... thank you kelli for letting me win the coin toss. Mike later became a terrific husband.

You are a terrific person, and I wish you lived closer.

Great story Ann! Another good ending to high school sweethearts. I always enjoy catching up with you at the reunions :)

Kelli, glad to hear all is well with you and your family. I have heard Minneapolis is a fun place to live. It's scary that my memories are so vague...did we go to St. Mark's together?

Hi Kelli,

I'm well thanks..if you don't count my curious lapses in memory! Yikes. I went to St. Marks for 1,2,3rd grade and then moved to magee. I think Sr. Marita (sp?) did me in. Did you have her? She used to pinch the back of a kids neck if they were misbehaving...scared me to death. I also would love to blame my difficulty in math to her having us stand up if we missed a question on the times tables. For painfully shy me, this was torture and I had to stand ALOT. I think maybe we were in the same brownie troop...do you remember?
Send along a picture of your little one!
